Organisation: Une place pour Elles & Baptist World Alliance

Valérie is a French Baptist theologian, who holds a doctorate in the history of religions at the Sorbonne and exegesis at the Catholic Institute of Paris. She is vice-president of the Protestant Federation of France, and is also a "fraternal delegate" to the extraordinary Catholic synod on the family at the Vatican.

Author of numerous books, Valérie is committed to raising awareness of spiritual and sexual abuse to the Christian public and to issues related to the place of women in the Church. In this context, she founded the association Une place pour Elles.

Established in 2018, Une place pour Elles is a non religious and apolitical organisation, set up to raise awareness of domestic violence against women: "We partner alongside other organisations with the same purpose. We exist to end domestic violence. Our mission is to use symbolic acts, so that we never forget the hundreds of women who have been murdered through domestic violence, and the victims of psychological, physical and sexual abuse."

Valérie is a member of CNEDA's Steering Committee.
