I am a Brazilian, living in Australia and working at Anglicare Sydney.
As a Caseworker I work with families and children at risk of becoming homeless, all kinds of vulnerable people, refugees, and women fleeing from Domestic Violence.
I am also a Marketing specialist, person-centered, with over 15 years of experience in Marketing mainly focusing on the Educational Industry. After consolidating my marketing career in Brazil, I moved to Sydney in 2017 to study and start a new career in the Social Work Industry.
I’m passionate about working with people, encouraging them to overcome their current hardship situation to achieve the best version of themselves and thrive in their lives. My passion and love for Jesus Christ motivates me to be fully committed to work in favour of minorities, spreading His Love, transforming lives, communities, and nations. My main goal is assisting people and promoting their Dignity, Respect and Integrity.
Since December 2018 I also have been volunteering at Iris Global Ministries as part of the Iris Australia team. Iris Global is a Christian NGO committed to expressing a living and tangible response to those commandments that Jesus called greatest: “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength,” and “Love your neighbour as yourself.” Iris Global exists to participate in bringing the Kingdom of God to earth in all its aspects, but most especially through our particular calling to serve the very poor: the destitute, the lost, the broken and the forgotten.
"To serve the poor, the destitute, the lost and the forgotten"
My reason for joining CNEDA:
"Connecting to people around the world to share the love of Jesus Christ, being His vessel and His light, finding new ways to reach out those who are struggling with domestic abuse, sharing His love and compassion!"
Some of my personal and professional interests:
"I love travelling around the world to connect to new cultures, stories and people. I love to spend time in nature, I love music and many forms of arts. My professional goal and motivation at my work is to be a light in this world and a vessel of Jesus Christ to serve the poor: the lost, broken and the forgotten. This is my mission, and God’s purpose for my life."
The languages that I speak, read, and/or write:
"Portuguese (native), English; I can also read and understand Spanish."
