Katie holds a B.A. in English (Regent University) & M.A. in Global Development and Justice (Multnomah University). She balances her time as Communications Coordinator for EverFree with her work as a certified personal trainer and nutrition specialist. Originally from New York, USA, she now resides in Florida, USA, with her books, plants, dumbbells, and four cats.
Katie was previously the Network Manager for CNEDA and loved her two and a half years spent getting to know the wonderful members of CNEDA, as well as working with Amanda Jackson, Bekah Legg, and the rest of the team at Restored!
My reason for joining CNEDA:
"I met Amanda Jackson at a virtual conference during my time with CBE International. She had recently founded CNEDA when I asked her if she needed an assistant, and it was God at work who connected us just when her then-assistant needed to shift job directions. It was such a rewarding experience to be part of CNEDA close to its founding, especially during the first year of the multi-national Red Chair Project. I've loved every minute of working with Amanda and then with Bekah as CNEDA shifted under the umbrella of Restored...And now it's a joy to continue on with CNEDA as a member!"
Some of my personal & professional interests:
"Reading, traveling to places in novels, being with my cats, learning to garden, playing games with family and friends, and working on design/communication/translation projects."
The language that I speak, read, and/or write:
"English, although at one point in time I had Morse code memorized!"
