Asun Quintana

Asun is a conference speaker and contributor of articles for the digital periodical ‘Protestante Digital.' She is also President of the working group ‘Mujer y sociedad de la AEE’ (Woman and society of the Spanish Evangelical Alliance), as well as the founder and President of the Seneca Falls Platform, whose objective is to work on behalf of women in every area, especially equality, in society, and in the church. She has been working on matters to do with equality and gender violence for more than twelve years.

Asun is married and the mother of three and grandmother of seven. She is a graduate in Spanish Language and Culture from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, and she studied theology at the Baptist Seminary (Union of Evangelical Baptists of Spain) and at the Bible School AsamCris in Jerez, (linked to IBSTE - Instituto Bíblico y Seminario Teológico de España) where she also taught Greek. Currently, Asun is pastor of the Asamblea Cristiana de Madrid church, a position she has occupied for 20 years.

Asun is a member of CNEDA's Steering Committee.
